Trade unions add their support

UNISON Women's Conference recently passed a motion to support the Stripping the Illusion campaign and affiliate with OBJECT to help raise awareness about the realities of the porn and sex industries. The motion is hopefully now being taken to UNISON National Delegates Conference in June so watch this space for further developments.

At Trade Union's Congress (TUC) Women's Conference a supportive motion was also passed challenging the commodification of sex and the objectification of women's bodies because of their role in creating attitudes which underpin violence against women. The tide is turning!
