Fantastic Feminist Fridays!

On Friday March 26th activists in Manchester, Portsmouth and London descended upon their local Tesco to protest about the sale of sexist lads' mags in a family supermarket.

Tesco recently banned shoppers from wearing pyjamas at some of their stores for reasons of 'offence', yet they continue to sell degrading and pornographic lads' mags at child's height next to ordinary comics and magazines.

In Manchester and Plymouth activists attracted lots of attention as they covered the entire displays of lads mags with brown paper bags plastered with anti-sexism slogans (photos to follow).

In London, 30 - 40 pyjama-clad activists conga'd through the Piccadilly Circus Tesco and protested outside to say 'what's more harmful, pyjamas or porn?'
