Raise Funds for Object

OBJECT could not continue without the generosity of its supporters - who have already found a variety of ways to raise money for Object:

Run, Walk or Stroll for OBJECT

In 2011, supporters took part in sporting events across the UK, ranging from fun-runs to yogathons, raising over £2,600. Thank you!

Due to popular demand, we have made joining the Women's 5K Fun Run an annual event!

If you are interested in taking part in the Women's 5K London Fun Run or other fun runs (or more serious half marathons, marathons or other sporting events) please contact Clair at: clair@object.org.uk

Cook for Us

Students from the union society WILPF at SOAS, University of London, found another tempting way to raise funds - through a cake sale.

Go Zen

In Summer 2010, a yoga teacher and 26 students ‘saluted the sun’ in a sponsored yoga session - raising funds and wellbeing.  This was such a popular event that in January 2011 it was repeated this time by another yoga teacher and her students.

Stand up for Women!

In May 2010, OBJECT’s first ever Comedy Fundraiser was a 'runaway success'. The event showcased a host of award-winning female comedians in a vibrant, feel-good atmosphere and raised nearly £2,000.

Thank you
to the fabulous artists for giving us their talent and time and especially to Kate Smurthwaite, for not only comparing magnificantly but co-organising the night along with the Soho Comedy Club.

Funny Women Fundraiser

OBJECT was thrilled to have been chosen as the beneficiary of 2010's Funny Women Awards.

Funny Women is the leading showcase of British female comedians. The 2010 event was held at a West End Theatre and hosted by previous winner, Andi Osho (Channel 4's 'Nightly' and 'Stand Up For The Week' and BBC2's 'Mock the Week').

The Big Hair Chop

Jeremy, had had long hair for 20 years but did a sponsored hair cut in order to raise funds for Object. "I raised £60 but most importantly it was a slightly alternative way to spread the word"!

Hallowe'en Fundraiser

In Nov 2009, innovative theatre company, Scary Little Girls, put on a spooky fundraising barge trip in Little Venice. They raised £560 for OBJECT. Thank you! And thank you to everyone who joined us on the night.

Lloyds have a charity arm which donates to charities put forward by staff.  We would love to apply but we need someone who works for them to recommend us.
